1. Overview

ScamPump.me ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data.

We comply with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the UK Data Protection Act, and applicable privacy laws in Asia-Pacific regions including Japan's APPI, South Korea's PIPA, and Singapore's PDPA.

2. Data Controller

The data controller responsible for your personal data is:

ScamPump Project

3. Information We Collect

We are committed to minimal data collection. ScamPump.me is a static informational website and does not require user accounts, registration, or login.

3.1 Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers through the website
  • We do not use analytics or tracking tools (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, etc.)
  • We do not collect or store wallet addresses or blockchain transaction data
  • We do not sell, trade, or rent any user data to third parties

3.2 Automatically Collected Data

When you visit our website, the following data may be automatically processed by our hosting provider (Cloudflare):

  • IP address — temporarily processed for security, DDoS protection, and content delivery. Cloudflare may retain this data per their own privacy policy.
  • Browser type and version — used for content delivery optimization
  • Referring URL — the page that directed you to our site
  • Access time and date — for server logs and security

This data is processed by Cloudflare under their Privacy Policy and we do not have direct access to individual visitor logs.

3.3 Local Storage

We use your browser's local storage (not cookies) to save:

  • Theme preference (light/dark mode) — stored as scam-theme
  • Cookie consent choice — stored as scam-cookie-consent

This data never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to any server. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

4.1 Our Cookies

ScamPump.me does not set any first-party cookies. We use localStorage (a browser feature) instead, which is strictly necessary for site functionality and does not track you across websites.

4.2 Third-Party Cookies

Some third-party services embedded on our site may set their own cookies:

  • Cloudflare — may set security cookies (e.g., __cf_bm) for bot protection. These are strictly necessary for security. Cloudflare Cookie Policy
  • YouTube — when you click to play an embedded video, YouTube may set cookies. Videos are not loaded until you explicitly click the play button. Google Privacy Policy
  • Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log font requests. Google Fonts Privacy

4.3 Managing Cookies

You can manage cookies through our cookie consent banner displayed on your first visit. You may also control cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of embedded content (e.g., YouTube videos).

5. Third-Party Services

Our website uses the following third-party services:

  • Cloudflare Pages (hosting & CDN) — Cloudflare, Inc., San Francisco, USA. Privacy Policy
  • Google Fonts (typography) — Google LLC, Mountain View, USA. Privacy Policy
  • YouTube (video embeds, click-to-load) — Google LLC. Privacy Policy
  • Cloudflare cdnjs (flag icons for language switcher) — Cloudflare, Inc. Privacy Policy

These services may process data outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable, transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards as required by GDPR Article 46.

6. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Under the GDPR (applicable to visitors from the European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland), we process data based on:

  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — for website security, DDoS protection, and content delivery via Cloudflare
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — for non-essential cookies from third-party services (YouTube). You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing your cookie preferences.
  • Necessity (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — for essential functionality like serving web pages and local storage preferences

7. Your Rights

7.1 European Economic Area, UK & Switzerland (GDPR)

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you

9. Data Retention

Since we do not collect personal data directly, there is no user data to retain on our servers. Local storage data on your device persists until you clear it manually. Server logs managed by Cloudflare are retained according to Cloudflare's data retention policies.

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect data processed through our website:

  • All connections are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS

  • No sensitive personal data is stored on our servers
  • The website is a static site with no server-side data processing or databases

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare's global CDN, which may process data in multiple countries. For transfers from the EEA/UK to third countries, Cloudflare relies on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and other appropriate safeguards. For more details, see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
